Our Lead Instructors

Corinne Berg, Agility - Corinne brings her lively love for the sport of agility to every class she teaches. Students constantly tell us how much they enjoy her classes and their resulting high level of success at agility trials. Corinne’s students represent all ages and physical abilities and the full array of pure and mixed breeds.

Corinne started her dog training life in grade school 4-H and well remembers the excitement and self-confidence she felt as she and her dog melded as a team. Her own agility dogs include a Pomeranian, an Australian Shepherd and her zippy Border collie, Jag, all of which have earned high level titles in various agility organizations. Corinne knows that the relationship you develop with your dog while training can bring many years of enjoyment. Come have fun with your dog!

Chris Soderstrom, Herding - Chris loves to help dog-handler teams
discover the joy of herding livestock whether for herding trials, farm work
or pure fun.

Chris has a degree in Animal Husbandry and has managed
livestock and horse operations since 1970. After many years of moving
livestock on foot she discovered the magic of the herding dog. Since then
Chris has used her dogs to manage our sheep flock and to compete in open-
field trials. Chris’ home-trained Rosie was the second Kelpie in history to
qualify for the Border Collie Handlers Association National Nursery Finals.

Her students, both human and dog, enjoy herding trial success with a wide
array of breeds including Bearded Collie, Corgi, Standard Poodle, Rottweiler,
Belgian Tervuren, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Kelpie, Border Collie and
Australian Shepherd.

Julene Cooper of Family Dog Center, Home Obedience, Rally, Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog
