Home Obedience for Adult Dogs & Puppies


Classes in Puppy Manners and Home Obedience are offered by Heather Ringwood and Emma Holly of Happy Dog Institute on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and by Shannon Ahern of Fido’s Farm on Saturdays. Read about our instructors on the About Us page.

Private lessons or board & train for any age are available with Shannon
Ahern, Fido’s Farm’s resident trainer. 
Heather Ringwood or Emma Holly, our Home Obedience Class Instructors, also offer private lessons.

Saturday afternoons with Shannon Ahern, resident trainer at Fido’s Farm

Shannon will help you develop good leadership skills for your dog using the positive reinforcement approach taught in our popular and successful Fido’s Foundations program in our boarding and daycare kennel. She offers a full array of classes from beginning puppies to older dogs who need improved behaviors and communication.

Happy Dog Institute creates happier dogs and happier people. Heather and Emma will help you solve behavior problems, cultivate and sustain bonds, socialize dogs and build confidence through positive reinforcement. They offer classes, private training, behavior consultations and more.
